About the Restaurant
Negpolki began with a simple idea: a genuine Adelaide restaurant where the food, the room and the welcome all matter equally. While the venue also includes a separate adults-only Casino Hall, the restaurant is the heart of what we do — a dining destination in its own right, worth visiting for the food alone.

01
Our dining philosophy
We cook seasonally and share generously. Menus are built around produce at its best, plates are designed to be passed around the table, and service is warm without being formal. Good hospitality, to us, means looking after everyone in the room — whatever they have come in for.
02
Atmosphere
The dining room is contemporary and relaxed: soft light, comfortable seating and an easy hum of conversation. It suits a quiet midweek dinner, a celebration with friends, or a long, unhurried weekend evening.
03
Cuisine style
Our style is modern Australian — grounded in local ingredients, with a light hand and clear flavours. We keep the menu focused rather than sprawling, so each dish earns its place.
04
A seasonal approach
Because we follow the seasons, the menu shifts through the year. Ingredients are chosen for how they taste right now, and dishes are adjusted as produce comes and goes. It means there is usually something new to try on a return visit.
05
The dining experience
Come as you are, and stay as long as you like. Whether you are here for a couple of small plates and a drink or a full three courses, the evening moves at your pace.

Drinks
Our bar keeps a considered list of cocktails, local and imported wine, and craft beer — alongside a proper non-alcoholic offering, including house-made sodas, alcohol-free spritzes, freshly brewed coffee and a selection of teas. There is always something worth ordering, with or without alcohol.
Desserts and finishing touches
We take the sweet end of the meal as seriously as the rest, with a rotating handful of desserts and a short list of dessert wines and digestifs for those who would like to linger.
Who the restaurant is for
Everyone is welcome in the restaurant. It is well suited to couples, groups of friends, casual business dinners and quiet solo meals alike. The restaurant is open to all ages during dining hours; only the separate Casino Hall carries an 18+ restriction.
The restaurant and the Casino Hall
Our restaurant and our Casino Hall are separate parts of the same venue. Guests are welcome to visit the restaurant entirely on its own — there is no requirement to enter the Casino Hall, and no expectation to gamble. The two spaces simply give you the option of a dinner, an evening of entertainment, or both.
Where to find us
